It is a great choice for those who appreciate the natural and traditional flavours of Mexican mezcal and are looking for a taste experience that is authentic, rare and adventurous.
The raw materials for this mezcal come from the A. angustifolia (Maguey Espadín) and A. lyobaá (Maguey Coyote) and the maturation takes between 7-10 years and 5-11 years. The mezcal is produced in San Luis Amatlán and is crushed in a stone mill. The kiln in which the mezcal is roasted is a hole in the ground that is fired with mesquite wood. The agave plants are both cultivated and wild collected and fermentation takes place in "Sabino" wooden barrels. The distillation is triple in copper stills and the mezcal is classified as Artesanal (traditional craft) and Joven.
